Maps displaying Ordnance Survey (OS) grid references/coordinates
What online maps can you use for showing/displaying Ordnance Survey (OS) references/coordinates. Maps in Great Brtain (UK) can use the British national grid reference system that will be confusing to those not use to it.
The fantastic Ordnance Survey (OS) maps use the national grid reference system. Ordnance Survey (OS) maps are so good because they include local names of places to a very high detail. Look at the example below of Quidenham Hall Norfolk near Quidenham Mere. Brilliant names the make local areas in Britain come alive, from the Wilderness to the Devils Oven Plantation!
The only location that the Ordnance Survey (OS) maps dont display about Quidenham is the coordinates or grid reference of Queen Boadicea's grave which is meant to be near Quidenham Church.
